Riko’s Snapbook

This is a photo gallery from each month since I joined SL, with some of the places and/or people I’ve spent time with for one reason or another :) Mouseover for a explanation of each :)

Orientation Island 15th Mar. 07; my first foray into Second Life. I don't remember exactly where this was, but that skirt was the first item of clothing I bought. Clayton @ Cafe Diego 7th May 07; after becoming bored with SL, I logged back on to see Lindsay from B*Witched perform at the opening of the Diegoland sim with a new band. Falln Sanctuary 9th June 07; my first experiment with photography in SL, in a sim I spent a LOT of time in back then. LifeChurch.tv 16th July 07; another place I spent a lot of time in, and the first place I went to to start meeting people. I never did get around to attending a service there, though! Yawgoo, with Mira 21st Aug. 07; when I met my first friend in SL, a blonde German girl by the name of Miranda. Still bugging her to this day! Hogwarts ballroom 9th Sept. 07; pretending to be a guitarist in a band at Hogwarts. Having gotten into Harry Potter roleplay in SL, I helped organise the Ravenclaw ball - The Rock'n'Ravens (together with Mira, Sid and Jeremy) were the highlight of the night! Danton's house 25th Oct. 07; visiting the house of another of the very first friends I met in SL... Wheelies, with D 16th Nov. 07; ...who just happened to be a DJ. Addictive too - I've missed very few of my dear friend Danton's sets since! Isla Violeta 23rd Dec. 07; the most beautiful Christmas build I've ever seen in SL - I stayed here and took a lot of photos. Unfortunately no longer there, but pretty when it was! Koreshan 13th Jan. 08; Riko discovers Japanese shops in SL. Ooooh. Godric's Hollow 19th Feb. 08; taken in the park area of my friend Graycee's build of the famous village from the Harry Potter series, and where I had my first home in SL. Rezday, with Graycee 9th Mar. 08; and here she is, at the bumper cars arena on my rezday! Fibber Magees 27th Apr. 08; my first event as a fully-trained hostess in Dublin in SL. Osgiliath 21st May 08; the last photo I took in the beautiful Osgiliath sims at Romenna before they were wiped from the grid completely. S. S. Galaxy 22nd June 08; the Black and Gold Gala to commemorate the anniversary of the opening of the S. S. Galaxy, one of my favourite locations in SL. Relay for Life 20th July 08; taken by Roswenthe (person behind me), during my 24-hour long run for Relay For Life. Ignore the sheep. San Diego beach 13th Aug. 08; Diegoland, one of the first places I visited in SL, became part of Dublin services and was renamed to San Diego. One of the best places to view the sunset in SL! New Hogwarts 16th Sept. 08; September was a month I spent much of assisting my friend Angus in his building of a new Hogwarts Castle for World of Hogwarts. Withywindle Nook 1st Oct. 08; the first land I bought and the site of my beloved hobbit house in Skybeam Wood. Godric's, with Boris 16th Nov. 08; in the new Godric's Hollow Pavillion after a live reading of Harry Potter, with my good friend Boris, a. k. a. the Blarney Stone cat. Blarney, with Mia 25th Dec. 08; sitting on the bar of the Blarney Stone with new hostess and friend Doramia!

  1. A wonderful page, nice to look back and watch Riko ‘grow up’, glad you stopped pulling my tail!
